A 23-year-old man was fatally struck by a driver in downtown Brooklyn early Thursday, cops said.
The victim was walking through the intersection of the Flatbush Avenue Extension and Gold Street around 6:30 a.m. when a 67-year-old man in a 2017 grey Jeep struck him in the middle lane, police said.
The victim was taken with body trauma to the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead.
His name was not immediately released.
The driver remained on the scene and was not immediately charged, cops said.
